Geography of Taipei

The city is located in the middle of Keelung and Xindian rivers. It is also the main port on the Pacific Ocean. The Taipei city is situated at an elevation of approximately 207 m from the sea level. The total population of the city is 2.646 million and the total area is approximately 271.8 km².

Climate of Taipei

The overall climate of Taipei is mild with the annual average temperature around 22.0 °C | 71.5 °F. July is the hottest month of the year with monthly average temperature is 28.4 °C | 83.1 °Fwhile January is the coldest month with monthly average temperature 15.2 °C | 59.4 °F. The city experiences the most rainfall in the month of September with an average of 319 mm.

Due to diversified culture in Taipei, there are many cultural tourist attractions that are must visit places for every tourist. These places explain the Taipei culture in very subtle and beautiful way therefore, you must visit these places at least once in your life.
